TUTORIALS: CAPTURE ONE BASICS CLASS
Mezame is a Phase One Certified Professional and Capture One affiliate. He runs well-received talks on Capture One Pro for learners residing in Singapore and neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, working with the various partners and distributors of Phase One-related products.
Presenting the Capture One Basics Class!
This class is currently available in Singapore only.
In each of this one-off 4-hour lesson, you will learn the basics of the latest version of the Capture One software:
– Getting started with Sessions and interface familiarization
– Importing images from your SD/CF cards and folder management
– Basic editing including colour-grading, cropping, rotating, keystone
– Masking and basic retouching
– The round-trip workflow with Photoshop and Capture One
– Processing output into different folders/extensions
– Basic tethering and Capture Pilot integration

I will be collaborating with Library@Orchard once again to do a talk, this time on Mobile Phone Photography.
With the advent of technology, digital photography has truly become accessible for the masses. Many mobile phones in the market have built-in cameras that are able to produce photos that rival that of dSLR cameras in terms of image quality.
With sensors that boast a higher megapixel count and better low-light capabilities, as well as various unique lens attachments, mobile photography is fast becoming an alternative for the serious photographer.
In this talk, join me as I share some nifty tips and tricks to take portrait photos that stand out; all you’ll need is your mobile phone.
