Valentine’s Day post!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. My apologies! I’ve been busy with work, and I’ve been experimenting with various social media channels to get my work out.
I have been trying out Instagram and Twitter since Facebook pages is pretty much a dead zone now.

Anyway, have you caught Marvel’s Black Panther in the cinemas yet? I will probably catch it over the weekend. Hope I can squeeze in a couple of days of R&R during the Chinese New Year long weekend!
Today is also a good chance to finally release some sneak previews of Kindred Spirits: The Journey.
Last year, Alvin and Nur Shahidah, avid fans of the Black Panther series approached us to have their pre-wedding photoshoot done based on the comic arc featuring Marvel’s Black Panther’s marriage to Storm of the X-Men.
The result is this series of pre-wedding photos which see them as characters from the comic book, with some inspiration from the movie trailer.
This entire series was shot in Macpherson Photo Studio with a Sony A7RII tethered to Capture One Pro 10 as well as on location at the Botanic Gardens in Singapore.
Backplates were shot at various locations in the streets of Singapore.
Images were retouched/edited on Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 and Capture One Pro 11.

As we couldn’t possibly bring the couple around in their costumes for the shoot (we had just 2 days with them with limited hours for each), we had everything done in studio and composited onto backplates taken separately. The shots taken at the Singapore Botanic Gardens was done on the ground itself.
